Civil Design Intern

Thomas & Hutton’s interns will gain exposure to a wide range of technical and field opportunities by supporting project teams on various tasks. Interns learn the business use of AutoCAD Civil 3D and will assist in preparing site design plans.
Paid 40‑hour per week internships begin in May 2026 and end in August 2026.
Relocation and housing are not provided. Please note, this is not a structural internship.

ResponsibilitiesSupport project teams on various tasks, assist in preparing site design plans, and learn business use of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
QualificationsCandidates must be in their sophomore, junior, or senior year pursuing a civil engineering degree at an ABET‑accredited program. Previous internship experience with a civil design firm and knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D are a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
