We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a long-term government contract in Brunswick, Georgia supporting the Department of Homeland Security. This role owns the reliability and modernization of the server and computer environments that powers the training, security, and enterprise systems.

• Lead enterprise systems engineering and server operations.
• Prioritize and resolve system outages and infrastructure risks.
• Design and implement server solutions aligned with Government requirements.
• Coordinate with network, storage, and data center teams.
• Support cloud engineering and hybrid environments.
• Ensure systems meet availability, capacity, and continuity objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring.

• 5+ years in systems engineering (within last 7 years)
• System engineering technical depth
• Prioritize outages/tasks/projects
• Design & implement server systems & prototypes
• Deep systems principles & performance optimization
• Collaborate with network/system engineers & vendors
• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair system infrastructure
• Cloud engineering & migration strategies
• Coordinate/resolve issues with data center engineering
