Job SummaryThe School of Nursing and Health Science seeks dynamic for a faculty position for Part Time Instructor of Exercise Science and Health Promotion.
Responsibilities- Course development and teach courses in Exercise Science and Health Promotion.
- Teach 1-2 classes per semester.
- Maintain on campus office hours, preparing lesson plans, syllabi, including course objectives, lectures, and other course materials such as quizzes and exams, and submission of final grades and attendance reports.
- Some teaching online may also be required.
- Evidence of or potential for high-quality teaching and effective student learning at the college level and evidence of excellent communication and collaboration skills will be evaluated. Active learning to enhance student engagement and student learning are essential.
- Masters degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, or closely-related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- CSCS and ACSM certifications
