Job SummaryThis is a 19.5 hour per week maximum, part-time student position. The student is expected to represent the Office and the College positively and professionally to internal and external constituents.
The student employee must have effective writing and verbal communication skills, and Microsoft Office skills. The student should have a high level of integrity due to potential contact with confidential information. The student will participate in required training, have basic lab skills, assist in preparing labs, clean equipment and laboratories, run errands, and assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
The weekly schedule will be assigned by the supervisor in conjunction with the student s class schedule. The work schedule is subject to change between semesters or as needed. Students are not to work during scheduled class time, even if class is cancelled or dismissed early.
Responsibilities- Assist in lab preparation
- Clean equipment and laboratories
- Assist with special projects
- Run errands at the discretion of the supervisor
- Perform any related work as required
Educational Requirements
- Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at all times
- Must be a Science Major
Other Required Qualifications
- May not be employed in more than one job at a time on campus
Salary
$9 per hour
