Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Broxburn for an Early Years Manager. The Early Years Manager will oversee the daily operations of the childcare center, including supervising staff, ensuring compliance with childcare regulations, and maintaining a safe, engaging environment for children. The role involves planning and implementing educational programs, supporting staff development, and building relationships with families. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for administrative duties, including budgeting, scheduling, and maintaining records.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Early Childhood Education, child development, and best practices in educational programming
  • Strong leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in communication and the ability to build positive relationships with staff, families, and children
  • Experience with compliance, health and safety standards, and childcare regulations
  • Professional qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Previous experience in a childcare management or supervisory role
  • Passion for fostering children's growth, wellbeing, and learning
