Description:

Urgent backfill needed for a Critical Care RN.
Responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients.
Manage patient care for those with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
Perform assessment and interventions for various critical conditions.
Utilize advanced monitoring equipment and techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for optimal patient care.
Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Ensure adherence to infection prevention and isolation precautions.
Administer medications and manage IV infusions.
Monitor and interpret vital signs and laboratory results.
Document patient care accurately in the required charting systems.
High patient ratios expected during shift.
Must float to other units as needed.
Participation in weekend coverage required.
Pre-approved time off is limited during the contract period.
Familiarity with charting system is preferred.
Travel experience is preferred.
Drug screening is mandatory prior to starting.
Clinicians must be available to complete necessary lab items in a timely manner.
Modules will be completed during the contract period.
