• Job Type: Travel Nurse / Contract (ICU RN, Critical Care Nurse)
• Setting: Critical Care Unit (CCU/ICU)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1820-$1910/week
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Unit Size: 12 beds, average daily census of 10
• Weekend Coverage: Required (14 weekend shifts per contract)
• Orientation: 12 hours plus modules (6-8 hours, completed during orientation)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or multistate compact RN licensure)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/CCU experience — critical care nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Travel nursing experience required (previous travel nurse/contract assignments preferred)
• Experience with electronic charting/EMR systems;
  Altera experience preferred but not required
• Ability to float to Med/Tele units as needed (flexible acute care skills)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must pass facility drug screen upon arrival (includes Marijuana)
• Resume and active license required for submission

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients as an ICU RN
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment using critical care best practices
• Manage advanced ICU equipment and therapies, including ventilators, IABP, Impella, and arterial lines
• Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, IV insulin protocols, and emergency medications
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, ABGs, and stroke/CVA protocols
• Perform wound care, sheath removal, and assist with chest tube insertion/removal
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services to coordinate patient care
• Maintain infection prevention, isolation precautions, and ICU safety protocols
• Participate in self-scheduling and maintain a 2:1 patient ratio as required
