Job Details:

• 2 years of experience required in service line

• Travel experience preferred

• Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients

• 12-hour orientation required

• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Saturday/Sunday)

• Self-scheduling type

• Care for patients aged adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Daily census of 35 patients in 38-bed unit

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

• Must be comfortable with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

• Telemetry monitoring experience required (both remote and on-unit)

• Experience needed with post-cardiac procedures, IV insulin protocols, hemodialysis management

• Skills required include blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, and cardiac drip management

• Must be proficient in wound care, chest tube management, and respiratory equipment (BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC)

• Charting system experience required, Altera experience preferred

• Must complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer

• 6-8 hours of non-billable modules completed during orientation

• Must be at least 150 miles from facility location

• Previous permanent staff must be gone 1 year to return as traveler
