Overview

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores is hiring for a Restaurant Cashier. Welcome to Love’s! This role delivers excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will maintain a clean and sanitized work area, accurately process payments, and ensure high-quality food service. No experience? We will teach you!

• General customer service duties including taking customer food orders, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register and offering additional sales opportunities to customers.
• Accurately and safely prepare customer orders from various preparation points within the kitchen (sandwich line, fry station, grill station, or other station depending on concept).
• Use methods and technologies to ensure proper food safety conditions and delivery of a fresh and safe product.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
