Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Texas

Start Date: February 9, 2026
Location: Brownsville, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 4:1 patient ratios, 2 weekends per schedule required

• 22-bed Emergency Department with full-service trauma and cardiac capabilities
• High-acuity environment caring for STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and trauma patients
• Team includes charge nurse, 5–6 RNs per shift, and dedicated ER techs
• Meditech EMR documentation system
• No on-call requirements
• Collaborative environment with 55+ emergency care professionals

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a high-acuity setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications required
• Strong triage and critical thinking skills using ESI guidelines
• Experience with trauma and cardiac alerts, including STEMI, stroke, and sepsis protocols
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability is preferred but not required
