Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring a TX or compact RN license and specialized certifications.
Responsibilities- Position is in the Emergency Department (ED) of a hospital
- Night shift schedule from 7:00pm to 7:00am
- 13-week assignment duration
- Direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Provide emergency care and rapid assessment of patients of all ages
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to stabilize and treat critical conditions
- US Social Security Number and date of birth are required for consideration
- Professional references may be required depending on state
- First time travelers will be considered if minimum requirements are met
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- At least 1 year of recent ED nursing experience required
- AHA or ARC certifications required with no certification expiring within the first 30 days of assignment
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or equivalent (SAMA, MAB, ACPMA) certification required for ED
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
