Job Description Adjuster SupervisorBrownsville, TX
Compensation Includes- Starting pay rate of $18-22/hour

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Adjuster is responsible for adjusting Merchandise, Grocery or Sack paper bag machines. They are also responsible for safety, product quality, and meeting or exceeding production targets in their assigned area.
EssentialJob Duties And Responsibilities
- Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures
- Ensure all guards are in place and functioning properly
- Enforce all safety rules including but not limited to safe work procedures such as lockout/tag out
- Enforce PPE requirements
- Identify safety training needs and provide feedback to Safety Manager, Supervisor, or training coordinator
- Check bags for quality defects off the machine, do all quality checks and paper‑work as per Quality Policy
- Ensure required quality checks are being performed by the BMO
- Perform quality checks at each roll change
- Identify quality training needs and provide feedback to quality manager, supervisor, or training coordinator
- Follow all quality policies and procedures; must comply with all good manufacturing practices
- Must comply with all safety practices and guidelines, including PPE requirements
- Make machine set‑ups and order changeovers
- Adjust and repair machines as needed to increase production, reduce downtime, eliminate quality issues, and improve machine durability
- Monitor employee breaks and schedule relief as needed
- Identify training needs and schedule training sessions with shift Supervisor/training coordinator
- Monitor machine run speeds and adjust to run at budgeted speeds or better
- Communicate any issues or pending work at shift change with the incoming adjusters
- Report machine issues and plan repair work accordingly
- Maintain daily housekeeping standards
- Enforce all safety procedures and GMP policies
- Submit accurate production reports daily and timely
- Meet or achieve safety, quality, production waste, and housekeeping goals set forth by management
- Follows all company rules and guidelines
- Avoid unsafe practices or carelessness. Follow all company safety rules and policies. Follow all safety rule specific to each machine and/or department
- Cooperate with fellow employees
- Be always waste conscious of efforts and materials
- Attempts to achieve quality product
- Good attendance is a condition of employment
- Prefer to have a High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Capable of communicating with all levels of internal and external customers
- Must be able to think on your feet, work with limited supervision and make sound decisions
- Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude
- Should possess basic mechanical skills
- Must be capable of standing for long periods of time
- Ability to frequently lift and carry 50 lbs
- Must have basic troubleshooting abilities
- Regularly required to stand, sit, move about the facility, climb stairs, bend, twist, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and fingers to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools and controls, grasp, push, pull, reach with hands and arms, lift above shoulder level. Specific vision…
