Structural Welders

Labor One is currently hiring Structural Welders in San Diego, CA at a Shipyard. $160 perdiem, if eligible.

• Three years of experience in steel welding and flux core arc welding processes. Proficient in flat, vertical, overhead, and horizontal. Ceramic Tape experience is required.
• Must comprehend written and verbal instructions (in English).
• Must be able to hear warning signals, read and comprehend safety instructions, regulations and warnings.
• Must pass a background check, vision test and drug test.
• Must be able to work any shift and overtime.

• FCAW

• 2F 3F 4F (VT test) – Fillet testing shall take 1-2 hours

• 2G 3G 4G (VT and UT test) – All butt joint testing takes a welder an average of 1-2 days

• 1G 2G 3G (VT and UT test) – All butt joint testing takes a welder an average of 1-2 days

• Wraps 2F 3F 36” in length
• Diagonal 3F 4F 36” in length
• In and out corners 2F 4F 6”
• Water tight collar
• Air arc fillet welds (VT testing) – All simulation testing takes an average welder 1-2 days
