Job Title:

Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist (PT) provides comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to individuals with physical impairments, disabilities, or injuries. The PT works with patients to improve mobility, strength, and function, reducing pain and restoring independence. This position involves direct patient care, treatment plan development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide evaluation, treatment planning, and care as prescribed by a physician.

Review medical records, collaborate with the team to develop care plans, and document treatment, progress, and goals.

Adjust treatments based on progress and re-evaluate as needed to optimize outcomes.

Instruct patients and families on continuing care at home.

Oversee and support other team members in patient care delivery.

Adhere to universal precautions and meet mandatory education requirements.

Participate in educational activities, clinical studies, and other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy

Current and valid Physical Therapist License form the State of Texas (required)

Current CPR certification (preferred)

Two years experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting

Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment

Good listening skills; strong verbal communication skills with a diverse range of individuals

Must have the ability to work well under pressure and stay calm and focused in emergent situations

Be highly self-motivated and results-driven

A desire for further education to keep up with the ever changing medical advances
