Job Summary Coordinates assignments of Respiratory Care Staff. Provides supervision of staff in the absence of Coordinator/Director. Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Supervises, to include discipline, supports and coaches staff in absence of Director; responds proactively to employee needs; makes rounds to adequately maintain patient equipment; therapeutic listings; reports identified unusual patient conditions/reactions to immediate supervisor; performs quality control on all respiratory care equipment.

Qualifications

Education

Required:

Graduate of an AMA accredited respiratory care program.

Experience

Required:

1 year of respiratory care

Preferred:
Supervisory experience

Certifications

Required:

RCP or equivalent State licensure; CRT, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, and AHA NRP

Preferred: RRT
