RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 22-bed Emergency Department with a patient ratio of 4:1

• Day shift includes Charge nurse plus 5 RNs and support staff

• Night shift includes Charge nurse plus 6 RNs and support staff

• Required to work 2 weekends per schedule with no on-call requirements

• Must have minimum 5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in high-acuity setting

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI

• Strong triage and critical thinking skills required

• Experience with trauma and cardiac alerts including STEMI, stroke, and sepsis patients

• Perform IV insertion, medication administration, EKGs, splinting, and wound care

• Assist with moderate sedation procedures, intubations, CPR, and code response

• Care for stroke, STEMI, sepsis, trauma, and behavioral health patients

• Coordinate transport preparation for higher levels of care

• Conduct triage assessments using ESI guidelines

• Follow isolation and infection control protocols

• Complete documentation in fast-paced environment using Meditech EMR system

• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

• Must be team-oriented, punctual, reliable, and compassionate with excellent patient-centered care
