Varco Home Health is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team serving Brownsville Texas. We are needing coverage in the Northwest, Northeast, Southwest and Southeast. This is a PRN (as-needed) position, offering the flexibility to work your own hours, making it an ideal opportunity for clinicians seeking work-life balance or supplemental income. In this role, you’ll have the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of patients by providing high-quality care in a home health setting.

We are looking for a clinician who is patient-centered, dependable, and committed to delivering evidence-based care that meets each patient’s individual needs.

• Evaluate Patients:
  Assess patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Develop and Implement Treatment Plans:
  Create individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring function, improving mobility, and managing pain.
• Patient and Caregiver
  
  Education:
  
  Educate patients and their families on exercise programs, safety strategies, and adaptive techniques to support ongoing care.
• Resumption Of Care Visits:
  Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Deliver Compassionate Care:
  Provide high-quality, empathetic care, with a focus on empowering patients to improve their independence and quality of life.

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas (TX)
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous experience in home health or rehabilitative settings is preferred
• Ability to adapt care approaches to meet the individual needs of patients
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques and best practices
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a professional, patient-centered demeanor when interacting with patients and families
• Kinnser/Wellsky EMR experience preferred

• Flexible schedule
