SUMMARY OF

THE ROLE

The Maintenance Coordinator Electrical ensures maintenance, including breakdown, corrective, and preventive tasks, is completed efficiently at the RGLNG facility. This role is part of the extended Electrical Maintenance Leadership Team and also collaborates with Planning, Scheduling, Permitting, and Warehouse & Procurement teams to ensure safe execution with necessary parts and equipment.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support supervisors by managing planning and preparation, allowing them to focus on field execution.

Safety and quality are top priorities, supporting the reliable and sustainable operation of the asset. This position is located in Brownsville, TX.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Demonstrate proactive safety leadership to the entire Maintenance team.
  • Responsible for the coordination of the Electrical execution teamwork activities.
  • Maintain a positive HSSE reporting culture.
  • Be an active and engaged team member ensuring a One‑Team approach, setting the teams up for success.
  • Coordinate SIMOPS between all RGLNG teams, Specialist Vendors and Contractors upholding the One‑Team approach.
  • Support supervisors by managing planning and preparation, allowing them to focus on field execution.
  • Review and approve work schedules for maintenance execution, as per RGLNG scheduling procedure.
  • Develop Permits for work execution activities.
  • Develop Risk Assessments for work execution as required.
  • Coordinate and ensure Vendors and Contractors are ready for work execution.
  • Ensure tooling, equipment, access and correct materials are available for T‑0 work execution.
  • Provide support during the Major Maintenance Turnaround events as required.
  • Review and accept T‑7 & T‑2 schedules.
  • Provide coverage for the Maintenance Supervisor as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Current Licensed Electrician Qualification in Texas or the ability to obtain.
  • Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance Electrical or similar.
  • Current Qualifications in EEHA.
  • Experienced in the execution of Electrical Maintenance activities.
  • Competent at interpreting Engineering Drawings and Documentation i.e. P&, ISO, GA, etc.
  • Exceptional working knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP or similar).
  • Experience working under a Management Of Change (MOC) process.
  • Experience in the execution of Turnarounds.
  • Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Must have a “hands‑on” method of working.
  • Ability to get Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC).
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
  • 10+ years’ experience in Hydrocarbon/Petrochemical industries in an Electrical role.
  • 5+ years’ experience in an Electrical Supervisor/Lead role.
JOB SITE WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Must be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.
  • Operates in a complex construction environment.
  • Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
  • Not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes. Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy weather conditions.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits.
  • Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distraction.
  • Routinely uses standard office and field communications equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers with scanner and fax, and radios.
