Alpha School reshapes education with a student‑driven learning model that accelerates progress through creativity, AI, and personalized coaching. As a Student Success Coach, you will guide small cohorts of self‑motivated learners to achieve faster academic results, deeper exploration, and greater ownership of their education.
What You Will Be Doing- Engage students daily through direct mentorship and motivational coaching at the peer level
- Leverage adaptive learning technology and AI tools to enable individualized learning progression
- Facilitate small‑group sessions on leadership development, practical life skills, and success frameworks
- Support students in identifying personal strengths and broadening aspirations via tailored growth strategies
- Shape Alpha’s evolving educational model by providing data analysis, actionable insights, and innovative thinking
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- Documented high‑performance achievements (e.g., top academic honors, D1/Olympic athletics, national competitions)
- 3+ years of experience working directly with K–8 students in a mentoring, coaching, or instructional capacity
- Strong communication and public speaking skills
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Willingness to work in‑person at Miami, FL;
New York City, NY;
Santa Barbara, CA; or San Francisco, CA
