Haz Tek Safety Management is seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to oversee safety operations on commercial construction projects. This critical role ensures OSHA compliance, implements best safety practices, and fosters a culture in which every worker goes home safe.

Location: Brownsville, TX –
Shift: 2nd Shift (12:00 pm‑10:00 pm)

• Pre‑cast concrete construction with all new mechanical systems.
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations.
• Daily safety audits and inspections.
• Address new construction hazards: fall hazards, electrical, excavations, heavy equipment, scaffolding, silica dust, and potential confined spaces.
• Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation programs.

• Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience.
• OSHA 510 and/or OSHA 500 a plus.
• CHST or CSP preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
