Responsibilities
  • Gain hands-on experience in a Goodyear Auto Service center by diagnosing technical issues using mechanical aptitude while delivering outstanding service.
  • Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation.
  • Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior automotive technicians and document all work performed on the repair order.
  • Report safety issues immediately to management and promote teamwork to ensure timely, accurate guest care during operating hours.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Company policy on vehicle care and operation; perform various manual tasks including lifting as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Preferred:
    High School Diploma or GED; ASE Certification; experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests; experience with electrical, air conditioning, and primary/advanced fuel ignition systems.

About the Role:

What Skills Will You Learn?

Shift Information

Depending on location, stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidays.
