Job Overview
The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. With a high volume location, the GM works with their leader to set goals and create a plan to achieve them. The GM leads a team of Department Managers, setting their own goals, following up on progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve each department.
The GM may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers.
- Previous General Manager experience running high volume locations.
- Strong background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail.
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our restaurants.
