Responsible for ensuring products meet industry and internal requirements through dimensional checks, performance testing, visual review, and simple measuring practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties- Follow all safety rules and procedures and be an advocate for a safe work environment.
- Measure products using various tools, record results, and assign status in accordance with industry and internal standards.
- Conduct performance testing on products using various equipment, record results, and assign status in accordance with industry and internal standards.
- Conduct periodic visual and dimensional audits of product and packaging, record results, and assign status in accordance with industry and internal standards.
- Compose and communicate notifications for non‑compliant product and collaborate with manufacturing staff to establish plans for the timely resolution of non‑compliant product.
- Oversee quarantine and segregation of non‑compliant product.
- Report findings to affected manufacturing staff and upper management.
- Rework non‑compliant product and complete physical and digital tasks required for disposition in accordance with industry and internal requirements.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of customer returns.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming product and components.
- Complete and record periodic equipment calibrations in accordance with industry and internal standards.
- Follow all site and department procedures and processes.
- Maintain a clean work area by following 5S methodology and safety guidelines.
- Perform special studies and/or duties as assigned by Management.
- Other work‑related duties as assigned.

QualificationsNone.
Education and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent and 1‑year manufacturing experience. Experience with product inspection, measuring tools, or lab equipment preferred.
Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend sufficient English to follow work instructions. Ability to write in English.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to perform basic mathematics including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and averaging with both whole and fractional numbers.
Technical SkillsAbility to use a computer, tablet, and other digital equipment.
Reasoning AbilityCapable of accurately making decisions to approve or disapprove product based on provided technical information. If the event information is not provided, must be able to develop a plan to gather information and execute. Ability to collaborate and work around other employees in a professional and ethical manner. Capable of applying written procedures to test results and initiate appropriate actions.
