CDL Driver – Postal Center International® | PCI®

The Class A CDL Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of mail over various distances, ensuring timely delivery to and from our facilities. Drivers will strictly adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies, meticulously maintaining accurate logs and records.

This role requires thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, strong communication and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to navigate diverse road conditions and severe weather. You will regularly interact with clients and dispatchers and work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Operating a diverse fleet of vehicles, including 26' box trucks with lift gates and tractor trailers for in‑state and out‑of‑state deliveries.
• Safely loading and unloading trucks, utilizing pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Strictly adhering to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies to ensure the secure and timely delivery of mail.
• Accurately maintaining all required documentation, including DOT logs, DVIRs, and delivery receipts.
• Conducting thorough pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, documenting any defects.
• Communicating, documenting, and reporting any delivery‑related changes, issues, or delays to supervisors and dispatch.
• Reporting accidents, incidents, or near‑misses immediately and accurately, following company procedures.
• Obtaining appropriate signatures upon product delivery, verifying receipt and completeness.
• Navigating varied road conditions and severe weather while maintaining safety.
• Adhering to all safety policies and procedures without exception.
• Actively participating in and completing all assigned training on internal policies and compliance.
• Performing other assigned tasks as needed to support overall operations.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with requisite endorsements.
• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations or accidents within the past 3‑5 years.
• Valid DOT Medical Examination Card.
• Passing all pre‑employment and ongoing background, MVR, drug, and alcohol screenings.

• Prolonged periods of sitting while driving and standing during loading/unloading.
