Activity Director Opportunity at Brownsburg Meadows Assisted Living
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and organized Activity Director to plan, develop, and implement engaging recreational programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for working with seniors, and a talent for creating diverse and meaningful activity offerings.
Responsibilities- Plan, develop, and implement recreational programs that improve residents’ quality of life.
- Provide leadership by mentoring and guiding a team of Activity Assistants to deliver age-appropriate activities.
- Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that accommodate varying physical and cognitive abilities.
- Foster a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Coordinate daily schedules, resident needs, and activity preparation to manage time effectively.
- Collaborate with departments, professionals, consultants, and external organizations, including government regulatory agencies.
- High school diploma or GED; two years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting or satisfactory completion of an Activities Director training.
