Kid Strong is Athletic Play – a new kind of activity for kids ages 1 - 11 that builds confidence, character and family connection through science-based fitness games led by expert coaches. Kid Strong Prairieville is rapidly growing and we're looking for talented, enthusiastic professionals who are passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives.
Role& Schedule
We are looking for individuals with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages walking - 11 years old. The Kid Strong Coach would focus on coaching children on cognitive, physical and character development that stems from evolving weekly curriculum. Our camps run weekdays 9am - 2:30p when local schools are out. Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private parties and class coaching hours.
Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required!
- Must be 18 or older
- Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
- Prior experience coaching camps with students within the appropriate Kid Strong age is preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
- CPR certified
- Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter who just gets a job done
