JOB DESCRIPTION

Perform various inspection and quality control operations of a visual, dimensional, and functional nature, making necessary critical observations, test or completing appropriate documentation. Essential Job Functions
  • Perform inspections on components, purchased parts, and/or finished products as required.
  • Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents.
  • Review inspection records received for compliance.
  • Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
  • Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) for non-conforming parts.
  • Maintain NOV guidelines on safety, quality, and delivery.
  • Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards.

  • Supports and contributes to facility goals.
  • Provide feedback on process improvements, cost savings, and opportunities for efficiency and safety.
  • Remain open to feedback and collaboration with other departments.
  • Ontime attendance and timeliness.
Eductational & Experience Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ yrs. Knowledge of standard measurement equipment and inspection processes is preferred.
  • Three or more years of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience reading and understanding engineering prints.
  • Demonstrable experience of computer literacy and use of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Non-destructive inspection experience preferred.
