Oilfield Shop Tool Technician - Downhole

NOV is hiring for a Shop Service Technician to join our team in Broussard, LA. The Shop Service Technician is responsible for all activities related to the service of NOV downhole underreamers (Reed Hycalog Anderreamers)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assist in the service of Anderreamers and Downhole drilling tools

* Assist in the service of downhole drilling tools, specifically underreamers (NOV Reed Hycalog Anderreamer)

* Safely operate equipment for the service of the underreamers (NOV Reed Hycalog Anderreamer)

* Safely operate equipment required for the service of Anderreamers and Downhole drilling tools

* Complete all necessary documentation and data entry during the service process

* Perform equipment preventive maintenance and inspections as required in procedures

* Maintain 5S and housekeeping in work area

* Communicate with management regarding any issues with equipment, tools, products, inspections, and HSEQ concerns

* Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by lead and management.

* Assist in the service of Anderreamers and Downhole drilling tools

* Work standard shift and OT as Required

* Use cranes and forklifts to safely move product in compliance with HSE requirements.

* Safely operate Torquemaster and other Equipment

* Gain and demonstrate understanding of the repair process to aid in production

* Adhere to all specifications, procedures, and customer requirements

* Participate in training and facility HSE programs

* Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned by lead and management

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

* Minimum 2 years work experience in industrial shop environment.
