The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials within the manufacturing facility. This role requires attention to safety protocols, efficiency in material handling, and effective communication with team members to support production and shipping operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Ensure proper stacking and organization of materials to maximize space and accessibility.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs.
- Work closely with production and logistics teams to meet material handling requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved and inventory levels.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Assist in other material handling tasks as needed to support operations.
- Any other responsibilities required by management.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certification in forklift operation and experience in material handling required.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Legal work authorization in the United States (sponsorship will not be provided for this role).
- Position based onsite.
