Offshore Compressor Analyst

Offshore:
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Compressor Analyst for an offshore position supporting a confidential client. This role follows a 14‑day on / 14‑day off rotational schedule and focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and maintaining the performance of industrial engines and compressors to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability.

Essential Duties
  • Conduct performance analysis of industrial engines and compressors, including vibration, thermal, and mechanical assessments.
  • Perform “B” Probe Inspections and engine exhaust testing.
  • Collect and interpret performance data to detect potential issues or inefficiencies.
  • Develop and support maintenance strategies to improve reliability and uptime.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
  • Generate detailed reports and documentation with actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and environmental standards.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies related to engines and compressors.
Requirements / Skills
  • Experience with industrial engines, compressors, or related machinery.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and performance analysis software.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred knowledge of reciprocating and rotary compressors.
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance practices is a plus.
  • Certification in machinery vibration diagnostics or reliability is advantageous.
  • Training in Windrock Analysis software and “B” Probe systems will be provided.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in offshore environments and perform hands‑on inspections.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods, and working in varying environmental conditions.
  • Comfortable working around heavy machinery and using diagnostic tools.
  • Must be able to meet all offshore medical and safety requirements.
Schedule
  • 14 days on / 14 days off rotation.
  • Offshore assignment.
