Position SummaryPosition Summary:
Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and in writing, including customers, suppliers, and associates. Drive and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals related to production, quality, safety, and operational improvements. Forecast staffing workload and performance results to meet business demands. Prepare and analyze business reports to identify operational improvements. Monitor and ensure compliance with logistics, quality, and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives.
Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns. Supervise and manage associates and leaders by providing direction, monitoring performance, and delivering feedback. Identify training needs and provide learning opportunities. Teach and model company policies and procedures, and participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation. Promote a culture of belonging, inclusion, respect, integrity, customer focus, and excellence.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in business or a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management) and: 1 year’s experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees across multiple departments/areas; OR 1 year’s experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates;
managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates; OR 3 years’ experience in the same environment with similar responsibilities. Associates must complete required trainings and assessments.
Financial modeling and analysis, management of challenging workforce issues, forecasting, budgeting, P&L accountability, supervising associates, Walmart Logistics Manager experience. Bachelor’s degrees in Business, Finance, Logistics, Management, or Operations Management are preferred.
