Overview
Aviata Heath Group is looking for a qualified Staffing Coordinator and Central Supply to join our family. Preferred Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Preferred staffing experience in the medical field. Preferred Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Experience. - Secure coverage for vacant shifts, open positions, vacations, as dictated by the Director of Nursing.
- Prepare and complete daily nursing hours report for the Executive Director/LNHA.
- Calculate nursing hours daily to meet PPD requirements and maintain a log of daily and month-to-date PPD.
- Communicate with admissions daily for census and admission/discharge status of patients.
- Review daily punch detail report on each employee, verify hours worked, correct errors, and identify trends.
- Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts to continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results.
- Receive and follow instructions from your supervisor per established policies and procedures.
- Ensure all telephone orders are confirmed with a written purchase order.
- Ensure all purchase orders are properly prepared, signed and submitted as required in procurement policies and procedures.
- Assist in preparing correspondence and claims concerning damaged merchandise, errors in shipment, etc., and return to vendor as required.
- Assist in developing methods for determining quantity of supplies and equipment required.
- Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the purchasing agent concerning procurement procedures as directed.
- Ensure various departments are properly charged with supplies they have received for cost allocation purposes.
- Deliver emergency supplies and equipment as directed.
- Fill requisitions from departments for routine supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure that supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Organize storage, issue and delivery of supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Check invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, etc., with incoming merchandise.
- Ensure inventory is updated as required when receiving/issuing supplies and equipment.
- Fill requisitions, as approved, and file in accordance with established policies.
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent. Associate's degree preferred but not required. Minimum one year of experience in the position, in a long-term care or other medical settings preferred.
- You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
- Preferred Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
