Responsible for assisting staff on departmental procedures and overseeing inspection, testing, and return-processing activities. Supports key quality assurance functions in a fast-paced environment requiring accuracy, efficiency, and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply knowledge of ISO 13485 standards
  • Oversee and delegate Quality Associates’ responsibilities including verifying production counts, processing returns and refurbished goods and ensuring data accuracy
  • Coordinate daily tasks with the QA team, Provide blank IQC test plans, Support material/pallet movement as needed
  • Support Incoming Quality Control (IQC) and Quality Management System (QMS) activities
  • Perform monthly in-house calibrations and maintain logs
  • Train new hires and provide ongoing staff support
  • Draft IQC plans
  • Pull and archive IQC test samples (raw materials & finished products)
  • Collect and enter finished IQC plans
  • Review incoming Side Effects and update logs
  • Process FM 2085 forms, Collect, finalize, sign/date, and log daily, Track escalations in monthly logs
  • Investigate escalated Mechanical Modules for engineering evaluation
  • Communicate return status with customers via email
  • Review and respond to QA emails
  • Assist Customer Service and Accounting with customer refunds
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
  • Communicate with cross-functional departments
  • Report quality findings
Physical Demand & Ability Requirements
  • Lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
Job Skill Requirements
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • High accuracy in fast-paced environments
  • Work independently
  • Team-oriented with a proactive attitude
  • Ability to train new personnel
  • High school diploma / GED or equivalent experience preferred
