Position Title: Assembler/General Laborer
Department: Assembly
Location: Sherwood Valve - Brooklyn, OH
Reports To: Plant Supervisor
Classification: Hourly - Non-Exempt
Position Summary- Assemble and disassemble valve, sub-assemblies, test for leaks, visually inspect valve parts, bodies, etc. Make repairs as necessary, pack and prepare for stock.
Job Duties
- Produce assemblies, finished goods
- Conduct in process inspection of product produced
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Good eye hand coordination
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Basic math skills
- Strong commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Position requires concentration, accuracy and focused mental effort
- Ability to work in plant environment with exposure to heat and moderate noise.
