Assembler​/General Labor - 1st Shift

Position Title: Assembler/General Laborer

Department: Assembly

Location: Sherwood Valve - Brooklyn, OH

Reports To: Plant Supervisor

Classification: Hourly - Non-Exempt

• Assemble and disassemble valve, sub-assemblies, test for leaks, visually inspect valve parts, bodies, etc. Make repairs as necessary, pack and prepare for stock.

• Produce assemblies, finished goods
• Conduct in process inspection of product produced

• High school diploma/GED preferred

• Good eye hand coordination
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Basic math skills
• Strong commitment to quality and safety

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Position requires concentration, accuracy and focused mental effort
• Ability to work in plant environment with exposure to heat and moderate noise.
