We are currently hiring two (2) full-time Racking Associates
:
1 Opening: A Shift
Monday–Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Overtime as needed
1 Opening: B Shift
Monday–Wednesday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Overtime as needed
The Racking Associate is responsible for preparing raw (unplated) parts for chrome plating by accurately racking materials and performing visual inspections to identify obvious defects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring quality products are produced right the first time.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Rack raw parts for chrome plating according to work instructions
- Accurately identify parts and apply correct racking methods
- Visually inspect materials during handling and report issues such as defects, mislabeling, incorrect counts, missing instructions, or improper racking of materials
- Maintain proper workflow to meet production goals
- Work collaboratively in a team-based manufacturing environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas
- Assist with inspection and de-racking activities as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on first-time accuracy
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred (training provided)
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Manual dexterity to handle, squeeze, pinch, and rack parts of various sizes
- Ability to work overtime as business needs require
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
- Use hands repetitively to handle and rack parts
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Twist, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend as required
