We have one immediate opening for full‑time Plating Lab Technician on 1st Shift: M‑F 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The Plating Lab Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality of all parts produced by the automatic plating line by properly analyzing chemicals and monitoring the plating process.

• Perform wet chemistry testing to include: acid/salt titrations, pH, weights density, temperature in process.
• Enter test results in the computer and filing.
• Calibrate pH probe.
• Get wet sample for testing.
• Do inventory on chemicals.
• Label out‑dated chemicals.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to write and read reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as:
  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and/or cooperatively.
• Is dependable in attendance.
• Must be able to work periodic overtime, at times on short notice with willingness to work all shifts.
• Must be able to work well with other associates and follow all company rules, regulations and policies.

• Knowledge of hazardous material handling, solution maintenance, basic chemistry, basic plating on plastic training, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving.
• Prior plating on plastics or metals experience is preferred but not required.
