Overview of Brooklyn Football Club Brooklyn FC is defining the future of soccer in America. In 2024, Brooklyn played in its inaugural season of the USL Super League team and in 2026 will launch a USL Championship team. We represent the 77 neighborhoods in the Brooklyn borough and are dedicated to uplifting our community through our global sport. This position is specifically for the 2026 USL Gainbridge Super League season.
Position Title: Performance Analyst
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate – $50,000 – $60,000
- Capture, code, and analyze match and training footage using industry-standard software.
- Provide post-match performance breakdowns for team and individual players.
- Identify tactical trends, strengths, weaknesses, and key moments.
- Conduct detailed analysis of upcoming opponents, including playing style, patterns, and set-piece tendencies.
- Prepare scouting reports and video presentations for coaching staff and players.
- Create individual player clips and feedback packages to support improvement.
- Track player progress over time using video and data metrics.
- Utilize GPS, event data, and other performance tools to monitor physical and tactical outputs.
- Produce clear dashboards, reports, and presentations for staff meetings.
- Collaborate with sports science and medical teams to support load management.
- Maintain video libraries, tagging systems, and analysis databases.
- Ensure best practices in data organization and confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Data Analytics, Performance Analysis, or related field.
- Experience working in soccer performance analysis (academy, collegiate, semi-pro, or professional level).
- Proficiency with video analysis platforms such as Hudl, Sports code, Wyscout, or similar.
- Strong understanding of soccer tactics, team structure, and match dynamics.
- Ability to communicate insights effectively to coaches and players.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems (Catapult, Statsports, etc.).
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience coding games live and delivering real-time insights.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
