As a Service Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mechanical services on customer transport equipment:
- Specialised Repairs: Focus on the diagnosis and repair of trailer systems, specifically EBS fault finding and rectification.
- Mechanical Maintenance: Carry out scheduled servicing and general repairs to ensure trailers remain compliant, reliable, and safe.
- System Reconditioning: Service and repair brakes, suspensions, axles, air systems, and electrical components.
- Operational Accuracy: Accurately record materials, complete task documentation, and support WIP close‑out.
- Safety & Standards: Maintain a clean workspace, follow SOPs, and participate in regular safety initiatives.
- Qualified: You hold a trade qualification or equivalent.
- Experienced: Proven background in automotive, heavy vehicle, or transport maintenance.
- Technical Expert: Knowledge of trailer brakes, EBS fault finding, air systems, and pneumatic/auxiliary systems.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate and take instruction.
- Reliable: A results‑driven individual who takes ownership of their work and strives for high performance.
