Security Officer - Shelter Part-Time Patrol

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to residents, staff, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a shelter location.;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior common areas and exterior perimeter as assigned, documenting observations and reporting maintenance and/or policy concerns.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including verbal de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.;
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit by verifying authorization, maintaining visitor logs as required, and assisting with orderly movement within the location.;
Complete accurate, detailed reports of incidents, patrol activities, and unusual conditions, and communicate updates to supervisors and/or oncoming officers during shift transitions.
