Security Officer - Patrol, NYS Licensed

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to residents, guests, staff, and/or visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential and shelter areas, including interior common spaces, exterior grounds, entrances, stairwells, and perimeter checks, as assigned by post orders;
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification and/or authorization, directing visitors, and coordinating with site staff for approvals when required;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, reporting concerns to site leadership, and contacting emergency services when needed;
Document patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions in written reports and logs, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives
