Position OverviewWe are a growing door hardware company based in New York seeking an energetic, motivated, and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. This role is ideal for a sales professional who is excited about helping expand operations nationwide and wants to grow alongside a rapidly developing company. ResponsibilitiesSales Growth & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to support nationwide expansion
- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, retailers, and other potential partners
- Execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and prospects
- Present product offerings, pricing, and solutions tailored to customer needs
- Respond to inquiries and follow up on leads in a timely and professional manner
- Research new markets, territories, and customer segments
- Provide feedback on customer needs, pricing trends, and competitive activity
- Support leadership in developing and refining sales strategies
- Work closely with operations, logistics, and management teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Coordinate internally to support customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
- Assist with forecasting and sales planning initiatives
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships that support repeat business
- Participate in meetings, presentations, and industry events as needed
Required Qualifications
- Proven sales experience, preferably in building materials, hardware, or related industries
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently
- Experience selling to national or multi-state accounts
- Familiarity with door hardware, construction products, or related markets
- Ability to travel occasionally as business needs require
