Bernard James is seeking a Sales Manager to join our growing team. This role will play a key part in shaping how we sell, how we build relationships with our clients, and how we scale thoughtfully across multiple sales channels.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both selling and building, working directly with clients while helping refine the systems, processes, and team structure that support long-term growth.

The RoleThe Sales Manager will oversee and support sales across our primary channels, including in-store, private sales, e-commerce inquiries, and wholesale. This person will collaborate closely with leadership and studio teams to ensure a consistent, high-touch client experience while helping the business grow in a sustainable way.
As a small and dynamic team, this role offers the opportunity to grow alongside the brand and help define what sales leadership looks like at Bernard James.
Responsibilities- Lead and support sales across multiple channels (in-store, private, online, wholesale)
- Work directly with clients, including high-touch and custom projects
- Support and develop the sales team through training, guidance, and feedback
- Help refine sales processes, clienteling practices, and follow-up systems
- Partner with leadership on sales planning, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Collaborate with production and operations to align timelines and client expectations
- Represent the brand with professionalism, warmth, and consistency
- 5+ Experience in sales or sales leadership, ideally within luxury, fine jewelry, or high-touch retail
- Comfort working directly with clients as well as managing day-to-day sales operations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Thoughtful, client-first approach to selling

This role offers a base salary range of $75,000–$95,000
, plus performance-based incentives. Final compensation will be based on experience, scope, and overall fit.
