Outside Sales Representative - NY

Starting base salary: $100 - $125K ++ commissions

Summary

We seek a driven Outside Sales Representative with an established book of business in the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, & CT). The ideal candidate has deep relationships with woodworkers, fabrication shops, and related trades, with a focus on architectural panels and surfacing materials. You will be responsible for developing new business, growing existing accounts, and representing the company's brand with integrity and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities
  • Track activities and results using

    CRM and sales tools.
  • Attend in-office meetings in NYC once per week or every other week.
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and deliver consistent, timely follow-ups.
  • Leverage your existing network to promote and sell product lines, focusing on architectural panels.
  • Serve as a consultative resource to clients, providing material recommendations and technical support when needed.
  • Identify and develop new customer relationships with woodworkers, fabrication shops, mill workers, and related trades.
  • Schedule and conduct face‑to‑face meetings, job site visits, and showroom presentations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal team members to ensure exceptional service and fulfillment.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience, ideally within the building materials, architectural panels, or millwork industries.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills - over the phone but most importantly in person.
  • A robust and active book of business in the Tri‑State area (NY, NJ, & CT) is required.
  • Highly self‑motivated and organized with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to drive 2‑5 million in sales within the first year.
  • Proven ability to meet, even exceed sales targets.
  • Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.
