Meat Butcher Special Apprentice
Position Description:
A Meat Butcher Cutter is responsible for providing prompt and friendly customer service. The Butcher Cutter will chop meat to size for display or as ordered by the customer, cut, wrap, trim, produce sausage, packaging and pricing all meat items.
Will also need to maintain, fill, and stock cases, and receive merchandise in the meat department.
Team members work safely and adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards in each area of the department to provide customers with the highest quality meat offerings.
Required qualifications:- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 18 years or older
- Restaurant back of house skills: safe food handling
- Retail skills: restocking
- Retail skills: taking inventory
- Retail skills: customer service
- Warehouse skills: loading and unloading trucks
- Warehouse skills: managing inventory records
- Management skills: writing schedules
- 5+ years of experience in the retail industry
- Able to work in an environment with low temperatures
- Able to stand for duration of shift
- Able to comfortably lift 30 lbs
