We are seeking a responsible, results-driven, and highly motivated Sales Associate to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. This position is ideal for an energetic individual who enjoys working directly with customers and taking full ownership of the sales process—from recommending the right product solutions to guiding customers through the purchase experience from start to finish.
This role is scheduled for 3–4 days per week from January 2026 through June 2026
. However, for candidates who demonstrate exceptional performance, strong reliability, and a commitment to the company’s values, there is the possibility of long-term employment beyond the initial term.
In addition to in-store sales responsibilities, the Sales Associate will assist with social media engagement, including Instagram postings and electronic communication with customers. The ideal candidate consistently strives to meet and exceed sales goals, delivers outstanding customer service, and upholds the standards and reputation of the company.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement & Sales
- Welcome customers by greeting them in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner
- Engage customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations
- Sell merchandise while consistently meeting or exceeding individual and store sales goals
- Deliver outstanding customer service and a high-quality shopping experience to grow and retain the customer base
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to confidently assist customers
- Keep clientele informed of preferred customer promotions, special sales, and future merchandise of interest
- Build long-term relationships through personalized service and follow-up
- Assist with social media initiatives, including Instagram postings and customer communication
- Support outreach to existing customers and help attract new customers through basic social media marketing efforts
- Communicate with customers electronically in a professional and timely manner
- Accurately document sales in the POS system
- Process payments, including cash, checks, store credit, and other credit cards
- Process jewelry repairs, including intake and coordination
- Understand and follow company policies and procedures for customer transactions and service issue resolution
- Perform store opening and closing procedures, including opening and closing the office area
- Safely move jewelry to and from store safes and display areas in accordance with company guidelines
- Assist with basic store maintenance to ensure a clean, safe, and inviting environment
- Support merchandising activities and maintain product displays
- Contribute to overall team success by completing additional tasks as needed
