We’re seeking a seasoned Executive Sous Chef who thrives in a mission-driven environment, drives culinary innovation, and leads effectively with the talent and desire to imagine unique, locally-sourced, unforgettable dishes.

About you:

an expert in culinary operations, a strong leader with a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance. You bring a passion for food and a minimum of 3 years of similar work experience. A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus. You must have demonstrated ability to lead, supervise and develop pastry and savory teams, and you should be able to demonstrate menu creativity through development and implementation.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are essential, and you should be flexible to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead culinary operations and drive menu development with a focus on locally-sourced and innovative dishes.
  • Engage guests and team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Monitor and support financial performance related to culinary operations.
  • Direct and develop pastry and savory teams, ensuring consistency and quality across all services.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and leadership to align on goals and operations for a 24-hour environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of similar work experience in a culinary leadership role.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead, supervise, and develop pastry and savory teams.
  • Demonstrated menu creativity through development and implementation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
