Hamilton Park Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Cook to join the team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY. The Allure Group is a consortium of six rehabilitation centers across Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY, specializing in post-acute and sub-acute skilled nursing and rehabilitation. We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of care for patients of all ages and conditions while upholding an environment of kindness, dignity, and respect for employees and residents.

As a Cook at The Allure Group, you would be part of a winning team doing meaningful work to improve residents  quality of life, health, and comfort.

• Prepare food in quantities according to the menu, recipe, and number of persons to be served
• Comply with state, federal, and all other applicable health care, safety, and sanitation standards
• Monitor and record temperatures in refrigerators and freezers
• Inspect special dietary restrictions of residents to assure that the correct diet is served to residents
• Process diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services
• Ensure that food and supplies for meals are readily available
• Assist in inventorying and storing incoming food, supplies, etc. as necessary

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Knowledge of dietary procedures
• COVID-19 Vaccination

• At least one-year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or another related medical facility
