HELP USA is seeking a Cook to join our food services team at one of our transitional shelter housing sites. The Cook will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving food, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation.
- Assist with food service.
- Keep inventory and daily meal counts.
- Assist with kitchen cleanliness.
- Stepping in for the Head Cook in their absence.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or equivalent experience and skills.
- Food Handler’s Certificate required.
- Willingness to continue training in food preparation and related courses.
Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage, prevailing wage, or exempt salary requirements under federal, state and local laws.
