Our exceptional team of licensed veterinary technicians are the heart of VERG. With our Cardiology team they play a vital role in delivering life-saving care. They support our board-certified Cardiologist, emergency clinicians, and specialists across all departments. As we grow, we’re seeking top-tier technicians who thrive under pressure and want to make a real impact.
What You Can Expect To DoIn this dynamic role, you’ll be on the front lines of veterinary medicine, supporting complex and urgent cases in working with multiple departments such as Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Radiology, and Neurology. You’ll help stabilize critical patients, perform advanced monitoring, support intensive care treatment plans, and ensure seamless patient care.
The schedule for this role is Monday through Thursday 8am - 6pm.
QualificationsOur ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quick-thinking, and possess strong clinical & communication skills. We’re especially interested in individuals with experience working in Cardiology and interested in continued growth.
Education/Experience Requirements- Licensed or Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT)
- Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience, preferably with emergency or critical care experience in a specialty setting
- Skilled in small animal venipuncture and blood pressure monitoring
- Experience in low-stress patient handling preferred
Advanced Medicine – You’ll practice at the top of your skill set and be encouraged to grow every day while you collaborate with an expert team and have access to state-of-the-art equipment.
Continuing Education Focus – We’re a team of lifelong learners. Alongside robust in-house training, we provide significant CE stipends and paid time for professional development.
Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS):
- 40 hours of paid CE time and up to $2,500 stipend
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
Credentialed Technicians (CVT/LVT/RVT):
- 32 hours of paid CE time and up to $1,600 stipend
- $2,500 sign-on bonus

US Pay Range
$28 - $40 USD
