Overview

Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for providing nursing care to the patients in the Department.

Responsibilities

* Integrates relevant knowledge and evidence-based practice (utilizing teamwork and collaboration).

* Provides specialty-specific care as outlined by Maimonides Medical Center

Qualifications

BASIC COMPETENCIES

Education:

Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing school required; BSN preferred

Current NYS licensure as RN required

Current BLS certification required

Experience:

Professional nursing experience appropriate to the service and the position

Skills:

Clinical skills for patient care delivery through the nursing process.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Good interpersonal skills

Analytical skills

Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position; fluency in a second language preferred

Pay Range

USD $66.69 - USD $66.69 /Yr.
